World AIDS Day at The New School

World AIDS Day at The New School

Dorothy Hirshon Suite, Arnhold Hall
General Public

As we mark the 25th annual observance of World AIDS Day, we invite you to participate in a discussion on current trends in political, medical, and social action around HIV/AIDS.

Panelists working in research, advocacy, policy, and program development will present local and international perspectives on access and barriers to HIV treatment and prevention. This will be followed by an open forum dedicated to the exchange of ideas on expanding and creating forms of access to universal prevention and treatment.

A panel of the AIDS quilt will be displayed in the lobby of 90 5th Avenue from December 2nd to December 6th.

This event is sponsored by Student Health Services, International Student Services, the Global Gender and Sexuality Project, and the Higher Education Opportunity Program at The New School.

Followed by a reception.
