Climate Action Week: The New School Marches at the People's Climate March

Lincoln Center
Students,
Alumni,
Faculty,
Staff

Join the largest climate march in history on September 21. As world leaders come to New York City for a UN summit, it is our turn to demand a world where the economy and the environment coexist to create a cleaner planet, and healthier communities.

The New School plans to show up in force. Invite all your friends from across the university! Help us make sure that all students, alumni, faculty, and staff come out to march under The New School's banner.

RSVP on the facebook event page, then meet us at Lincoln Center Plaza by the fountain on the 21st to march with The New School.

Leading up to the march, the New School’s Climate Action Week includes a diverse set of programming directed towards the university and wider community for enriched learning and engagement opportunities, scholarship, innovation and creativity, solidarity and collective action, and highlighting New School’s values around climate justice and action

For information about how else you can get involved, email Molly Johnson at johnm742@newschool.edu.

This event is co-sponsored by the New School for Public Engagement, the Milano School of International Affairs, Management, and Urban PolicyParsons The New School For Design, the Tishman Environment and Design Center, and the Sustainable Cities Club.
