Join El Museo del Barrio’s Executive Director, Patrick Charpenel as he speaks with the founding director of El Museo, artist Raphael Montañez Ortiz. They will discuss the significance of the museum’s origins and its place in the future of New York City’s cultural institutions.

This event is part of the Charlas: Latinx Art and Artists: New York Edition series sponsored by El Museo del Barrio in collaboration with The New School and is part of Carnegie Hall's The 60's: The Years That Changed America festival.
