The City of Others

Friday, January 29, 2016 at 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm

Arnold and Sheila Aronson Galleries, Sheila C. Johnson Design Center 66 Fifth Avenue New York, NY 10003

The City of Others is a walking workshop that investigates locations around New York City. On our commute from home to work, we pass many places that hold other people’s stories. This workshop will allow participants to explore the city through a stranger’s story.

Yihan Zhou is an MFA student in Design and Technology in the School of Art, Media and Technology.

This workshop is part of the exhibition Mass Observation 2.0: Research into the Everyday, on view in the Arnold and Sheila Aronson Galleries from January 25-31.

Sponsored by The School of Art, Media, and Technology at Parsons/The New School, and the University of Cologne, Fund for Innovation in Teaching.
