SuperDesign: Italian Radical Design 1965-75 traces the history and legacy of 19 of the major architects, designers, and collectors associated with the movement. Coalescing in the 1960s as a response to the tumultuous political climate when social tensions between the extreme right and left wing parties in Italy reached a peak, progressive groups expressed their political ideologies through architecture, design, and open discourse critiquing the status quo. This is the first documentary of its kind to interview living members of this movement.

Join us for a screening and discussion with Evan Snyderman, R & Company’s Co-Principal and Creative Director.

The film is directed by Francesca Molteni and Maria Cristina Didero, and presented by R & Company and Muse.
