Omri Kochavi, 24. Israeli born, NYC based composer, Jazz and classical guitarist. Graduated with excellency from The Center for Jazz Studies in Tel Aviv, majoring in jazz guitar, also studying classical guitar, composition, and arranging. After performing in some of the top jazz clubs in Tel Aviv, both as a sideman and as a bandleader, he moved to NYC to pursue his B.F.A. at the New School for Jazz and Contemporary music. He is currently in his senior year, majoring in Jazz guitar and minoring in classical composition, along with performing with various groups in NYC.
