Real Politics 101 with Ben Yee

Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm

Theresa Lang Community and Student Center, Arnhold Hall 55 West 13th Street, Room I-202, New York, NY 10011

The systems and procedures that drive democracy are often obscured from the very people they are meant to serve. This workshop opens up these topics, and others, which are ignored by political science classes, the media, and even Wikipedia pages.

We'll be covering topics such as:

- Political Geography
- The Party Structure in America
- How to engage in the existing system for real effect

This workshop will be led by Benjamin Yee, Secretary of the Manhattan Democratic Party and State Committeeman for the 66th Assembly District.
