How can we make better plastics?

Purpose: To explore biopolymers (starch,water,milk, etc) as an alternative to traditional polyester and other synthetic plastics that can also act as estrogen disruptors influencing both ecological integrity and human health.

Concepts: Chemical polymerization

Social Connection: Action against plastics in the environment, and the role that estrogen disruption has on health (Link)

Method of Experiment: Mixing materials, using molds, and heating and cooling cycles to craft products or textiles.
