“Printing Fashion” in Paris, will create an independent space for a discussion for practitioners, critics, academics to explore the contemporary role and value of fashion media via the specific lens of printed publications.
KD Presse will host a pop-up store at the festival where a selection of its publications will be presented.
The festival will feature different roundtable discussions, including the rise of economic and cultural value of historical and contemporary print fashion publications, the relationship between digital and printed media, the magazine as a curatorial project, and the issue of representability and national discourse in fashion magazines.
