Parsons Fine Arts Visiting Artist Lecture Series: Adelita Husni-Bey

Adelita Husni-Bey is an artist and pedagogue interested in anarco-collectivism, theater, law, and urban studies. She organizes workshops, produces publications and exhibition work focused on using non-competitive pedagogical models through the framework of contemporary art. Recent exhibitions include Chiron, New Museum, 2019; Being: New Photography 2018, MoMA; Dreamlands, Whitney Museum, 2016. She is a 2012 Whitney Independent Study Program fellow and represented Italy in the 2017 Venice Biennale with a video rooted in anti-extractivist struggles.
