On Fashion Criticism: A Talk with Anja Cronberg Aronowsky

On Fashion Criticism: A Talk with Anja Cronberg Aronowsky

Parsons Paris

The Parsons Paris MA in Fashion Studies will host a talk by Anja Cronberg Aronowsky, founder and editor-in-chief of Vestoj - The Journal of Sartorial Matters.

Vestoj is printed publication and a forum where academia, the museum world and the fashion industry work together in active communication. The Journal focuses on the cultural phenomenon that is fashion in a manner that opens up a dialogue between theory and practice in order to raise awareness for fashion as a cultural phenomena and a field of research, and to cultivate an even greater understanding of the discipline. Vestoj exists outside of seasonally-based trends and news-focused articles. Instead, it encourages and champions the critical and independent voice within fashion as well as absolute creative freedom. In order to ensure freedom in thought and action, Vestoj does no advertising.

The talk is part of the course "Fashion & Criticism" taught by Emilie Hammen. In occasion of this talk, the Year 1 students of the MA in Fashion Studies will present the second issue of the magazine Regard(s).

Presented by Parsons Paris at Parsons
