Jen Percy is the author of Demon Camp (2014) which was a Barnes & Noble Discover Great New Writers Pick and a New York Times Editors Choice. She writes for magazines like Harper's and The New Republic, and has been featured on National Public Radio and BBC’s World News. Percy has won a number of awards for her writing, including a National Endowment for the Arts Grant, scholarships to the Bread Loaf Writers' Conference, a Pushcart Prize and multiple academic fellowships. She was a Truman Capote Fellow at the Iowa Writers' Workshop and received an Iowa Arts Fellowship from the nonfiction writing program. She teaches writing at NYU.
