Please save the date for a celebration and discussion of the new book FEMININE LAW: Freud, Free Speech, and the Voice of Desire (Karnac, March 2016) by author Jill Gentile.

Guests include: Carol Gilligan (author, psychologist), George Makari (author, director of Cornell's Institute for the History of Psychiatry, and professor of psychiatry at Weill Cornell Medical College), Chiara Bottici (Professor, The New School for Social Research), and David Lichtenstein (psychoanalyst in private practice in New York, Editor of DIVISION/Review, a Control Analyst and faculty member of Apres-Coup Psychoanalytic Association, and a faculty member at The New School for Social Research and the CUNY Graduate School).

The evening is moderated by Steve Botticelli (Professor, NYU Postdoctoral Program) and hosted by Jeremy Safran (Professor, The New School for Social Research).

Note: the event begins at 7PM. A reception will be held at 6:30PM.
