Wolff Conference Room, Room D1103, Albert and Vera List Academic Center 6 East 16th Street, New York, NY 10003, Room D1103

The Studley Graduate Program in International Affairs presents an event to welcome PassBlue at The New School.

Barbara Crossette (Consulting Editor, Passblue and Former UN Bureau Chief, New York Times), Stephen Schlesinger (Historian and Author), and Sean Jacobs (Associate Professor, SGPIA and Founding Editor, Africa is a Country) and Minh-Thu Pham (Executive Director for Policy, United Nations Foundation) will discuss the role of independent reporting on the United Nations in the era of Fake News.

PassBlue is an independent, women-led digital publication offering in-depth journalism on the US-UN relationship as well as women’s issues, human rights, peacekeeping and other urgent global matters, reported from their base in the UN press corps. Founded in 2011, PassBlue is a project of the New School’s Studley Graduate Program in International Affairs in New York and not tied financially or otherwise to the UN.
