In Practice: An Evening with Designer-Architect Piero Lissoni

Piero Lissoni is a practicing architect and designer, renowned for his collaborations with leading design brands such as Alessi, Cassina, Cappellini, Kartell, and Knoll — to name a few. Since 1986, his Milan-based studio has designed numerous showrooms as well as wineries, yachts, private villas, and hotels — including the principal suites for the Pierre Hotel here in New York. Lissoni was also the winner of the NYC Aquarium & Public Waterfront competition and recently has opened an NYC-based studio focused on projects in the Americas. The evening will consist of a presentation by Piero followed by a discussion Q+A led by faculty Andrea Ruggiero.
