Highlighting Muslim Narratives

Saturday, December 2, 2017 at 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm

Starr Foundation Hall, Room UL102, University Center 63 Fifth Avenue, New York, NY 10003

My Voice Unheard presents a "Bola Chali" session with the New Yorkers, featuring the artistic Natasha Jehangir and the talented Muhammad Moiz who will talk about the story of their life and work, surrounding their identity and self-expression.

The event focuses on having a conversation around a Muslim narrative that is never spot lighted and condemned to amnesia. We offer a safe space of sharing individual stories of liberation, struggle and achievement that are constantly forming an American Muslim identity that is widely unrecognized.
