Fashion and Diversity Series: Fashion and Race

Friday, February 12, 2016 at 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm

University Center, UL105 63 Fifth Avenue, New York, NY

Join Senior Fashion Editor of the Huffington Post, Julee Wilson, as she moderates a conversation with designers, editors, scholars and more on new narratives of blackness in fashion. From designers telling their stories through design during New York Fashion Week to scholars groundbreaking work on the compelling histories of Africans and African Americans’ styling practices, this conversation will cover how young black fashion industry professionals are rearticulating what it really means to tackle racial diversity.

The event is part of the “Black History Month at Parsons” programming supported by the School of Fashion and the University Student Senate.
