DocFest - a Concert hosted by Doc Morgan to Benefit the Helen and Bob Morgan Jazz Scholarship at The New School

The School of Jazz and Contemporary Music presents DocFest (docfestjazz.org) in its inaugural New York Benefit Concert, hosted by Robert Doc Morgan, benefitting the Helen and Bob Morgan Jazz Scholarship at The New School. 

Headlining the event is an incredible trio of the best trumpet players in the world, Randy Brecker, Wallace Roney and Marvin Stamm, accompanied by Helen Sung, piano; Marcos Varela, bass and Reggie Quinerly, drums.  

Featured performers include world renown drummer/composer Eric Harland with Aaron Parks, piano; Matt Brewer, bass; Walter Smith III, tenor sax and Mike Moreno, guitar.

Bring your instruments to participate in the jam session immediately following the concert 5:30pm - 7:30pm, hosted by James Francies.
