The Department of Foreign Languages will host a roundtable discussion to discuss the practices of collecting, curating, and archiving Cuban art. Roundtable panelists include: 

Maria Cabrera Arus - Sociologist, fashion scholar & award-winning founder of CubaMaterial.com, holds a PhD from The New School for Social Research

Sara Reisman - Artistic Director, Shelley & Donald Rubin Foundation

Hermes Mallea - MGroup Architects and author of several books

Elvis Fuentes - PhD Candidate in Art History, Rutgers University, Mellon IDRF 2015-2016

Meyken Barreto - Regional Director, Artist Pension Trust. Curator and Independent Researcher

Gabriel Vignoli - Cuba IFP Faculty Coordinator; Lecturer in International Affairs, The New School. PhD in Anthropology - The New School PhD in Latin American Studies - University of Calabria/Italy
