General Public

Performance is a central component of every student's education at the New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music, and the Ensemble Showcases are where faculty-led student groups showcase their talent and creativity.

An ensemble course with Mannes and Jazz students, ideally four pianists and four others, the students work in duos and trios developing short musical sketches based on constructs from a variety of genres stemming from classical music and jazz.

Presented by the School Jazz and Contemporary Music at the College of Performing Arts
