Chew it over with Jenna Wortham, Wesley Morris, and Samin Nosrat

Friday, October 12, 2018 at 6:30 pm to 7:45 pm

The Auditorium, Room A106, Alvin Johnson/J.M. Kaplan Hall 66 West 12th Street, New York, NY 10011

Join the hosts of “Still Processing,” Jenna Wortham and Wesley Morris, as they chew the proverbial fat with Samin Nosrat, “America’s next great cooking teacher” (Alice Waters). Celebrating the launch of Nosrat’s new Netflix series — based on her best-selling cookbook “Salt, Fat, Acid, Heat” — this delectable evening offers foodies and culture buffs alike a deep dive into the elements of good food and great conversation. Bea Banu, chair of the Food Studies Program at The New School, will provide the opening remarks.

“Salt, Fat, Acid, Heat” launches globally on Netflix on October 11.

Presented in collaboration with the New York Times, the Food Studies Program, and the Executive Dean's Office at the Schools of Public Engagement at The New School.
