Black Lunch Table, People's Table

Anna-Maria and Stephen Kellen Gallery, Sheila C. Johnson Design Center
General Public

Join us for lunch and a community discussion of sociopolitical issues affecting historically disenfranchised populations.

This event is part of In the Historical Present, an exhibition in the Anna-Maria & Stephen Kellen Gallery featuring commissioned artworks, artist-led engagements and performances, and works drawn from the New School's art collection and archives in celebration of the university’s Centennial. Benjamin Van Buren is a graduate of The New School’s Dance major at Eugene Lang College of Liberal Arts. He founded Yonkers International Press (YIP) as an experimental publishing house that archives and re-disseminates materials collected at live performances and dance festivals.
