Interdisciplinary Science Planetary Health Talk: Rebecca Shell, Research Technician and Ph.D. candidate in Environmental Management, Montclair State University

Hard clam aquaculture is an industry on the rise in New York and New Jersey waters, but leasing has been limited in scale as compared to other mid-Atlantic states. Researcher and PhD candidate Rebecca Shell will present work that provides the missing data on local ecological impacts from a three-year controlled study on hard-clam aquaculture in New Jersey that may justify increases in aquacultural capacity.
