Art/Write Free Creative Writing Workshops

Friday, December 15, 2017 at 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm

See the website for the location details

Sneak an hour of creative writing into your school or work day, and re-engage with art!

“Art/Write” workshops are free, one-hour workshops that lead participants in creating new writing prompted by art in galleries and sites on The New School campus. The workshops use literature as a lens into artworks, and artworks as a lens back into writing. The goal of these power hours is to connect (or reconnect) participants to the art that surrounds them, and to their own unique writing voice.

Every Friday unless otherwise noted, 12:30 - 1:30 PM, please see the website for location details, as the weekly gallery locations rotate based on the exhibition schedules.

Free with registration. Space is limited.

Leslie Fierro is a writer and Amherst Writers and Artists Affiliate, leads "Cast Off!" writing workshops in Brooklyn, NY, holds an MFA in Creative Writing from The New School, and is a Program Administrator in the School of Art, Media and Technology at Parsons.
