Activism in Print

Friday, February 23, 2018 more dates through February 23, 2018

University Center, Social Justice Hub, 5th Floor 63 Fifth Avenue, New York, NY

"Real education should consist of drawing the goodness and the best out of our own students. What better books can there be than the book of humanity?" -Cesar Chavez

Activism in Print, a Social Justice Hub exhibition, will feature student work and creations. After studying and listening to those who are undocumented immigrants, our concern was to bring attention to the seriousness of this issue to the public. To educate, elicit a dialogue, and appeal to action through the art of the poster.

Presented By: Activism in Print (LSOC #3028), Professor Paul Marcus

Event Announcement Artwork By: Esra Gumrukculer

We want to thank Riva Kadar and Benoit Challand for enabling this class and Maya Wiley, Cybele Ramirez, and the Social Justice Committee for their support in exhibiting it.
