Writing Course Syllabi: Workshops Series on Teaching and Pedagogy

Course syllabi can take various forms, such as creative texts suggesting the narrative arc of learning, early snapshots of learning expectations, resource packets, and contracts between teacher and learner outlining how learning will be evaluated and the student will be graded. Syllabi can be all of these things but should always include the objectives that guide the course, its description, learning outcomes, assessment, and university policies for which the student is accountable.
All full-time and part-time faculty are invited to attend this opportunity to gather together with fellow faculty. Please bring a copy of your syllabus.
