The New School's Observatory on Latin America (OLA) is pleased to invite you to a Public Lecture by: Diego Fernández, the Secretary of Urban and Social Integration Secretariat Government of the City of Buenos Aires, Argentina. 

Villa 31 is the second largest slum in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The Secretariat of Social and Urban Integration seeks to improve the informal neighborhood through four objectives: development of social and human capital by strengthening people's capacities and opportunities; improving habitat conditions, sustainable economic and productive development, and urban integration, guaranteeing infrastructure, mobility and public space.
