Friday, April 4, 2014 at 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm

Room A404, Alvin Johnson/J.M. Kaplan Hall 66 West 12th Street New York, NY 10011

Julien J. Studley Graduate Program of International Affairs along with the University Student Senate presents "Oil and Mining Corruption - What's being done?"

Most of us likely hate the oil and mining industry for what they've done to both local communities and the environment at large. But who's really making moves to change the way things are done?

GPIA students teamed up with Revenue Watch Institute to discover which lending institutions were contributing to the the financing of destructive projects, and which were paving the way with new standards of global governance.

Rockstar Lawyer Steven Donziger will be the guest speaker.
