Two Evenings of Original Documentary Shorts

Tuesday, May 22 and Wednesday, May 23 at 7:00 p.m.

The Graduate Certificate in Documentary Media Studies is proud to present its twelfth annual festival of original short films made by students in the class of 2018.

Each work is the result of a year of intensive study in documentary cinema -- production, history and theory -- by students from around the world.  This year’s class includes students from Zimbabwe, Iran, India, Brazil, Colombia, Panama, Lebanon, Scotland and the U.S. The festival is hosted by Deanna Kamiel, director of the Doc Studies program at The New School.

Screenings will be followed by a faculty-led Q & A with the filmmakers. A reception takes place after the Tuesday night screening.
