Hudson River Community Sailing West 26th Street & 12th Avenue, New York, NY
Check out New York City from the watery view of the Hudson River during a two-hour sailing lesson. During the lesson, you will learn how to steer, how to control the sails, the different parts of the boat, and a few basic maneuvers. No experience is necessary.
NOTE: You must be able to swim in case you fall off the boat (though unlikely) – life jackets will be provided.
The day of, meet at Hudson River Community Sailing on Pier 66 no later than 5:00pm - the boat will not wait for stragglers!
This event is only open to current New School students with valid New School ID, faculty, staff, alumni, and their guests. To register, click the "Buy Tickets" button near the top right corner of this page.
You must have medical insurance to participate; you will be asked to list your policy carrier and number upon registering. Bring your New School ID and insurance card with you to the event.
