Interdisciplinary Science Planetary Health Talk: Davida Smyth, Associate Professor of Biology and Chair of the Natural Sciences at Mercy College

Dr. Smyth will present her research on antibiotic resistance, the associated implications for our communities, and ongoing efforts to reduce and prevent the problem from getting even worse. Her research focuses on environmental monitoring, microbial genomics and profiling, and the development of "healthy materials."

This talk will take place from 5:00pm-6:00pm with students-only time from 6:00pm-6:30pm.
