Re-Thinking the Urban Forest

In partnership with NYC parks and the US Forest Service’s Urban Field Station, Parsons SCE presents an event that explores new approaches to the urban forest.

Four experts in the field of reclaimed wood reuse will provide brief presentations on their work, followed by a panel discussion moderated by an SCE faculty member.

Presenters include: Jeremy Barrick (NYC Parks), Alan Solomon (Sawkill Lumber), Roger Benton (ReCo Bklyn) and Barry Goodell, Professor of Sustainable Biomass at Virginia Tech.
