Major Jackson is the author of several collections of poetry, most recently, Holding Company and Hoops. His honors include a Cave Canem Poetry Prize, a Whiting Writers’ Award, and fellowships from the Pew Fellowship in the Arts and the Witter Bynner Foundation in conjunction with the Library of Congress. Jackson currently serves as the Poetry Editor of the Harvard Review.
