Nonfiction Forum: Amy Kurzweil and Kristen Radtke

Amy Kurzweil is a New Yorker cartoonist and the author of Flying Couch: a graphic memoir (Catapult/Black Balloon 2016). Her writing and comics have also been published by Lenny Letter, The Toast, The Awl, Huffington Post, Hobart, Shenandoah, and elsewhere. She teaches comics at the Fashion Institute of Technology among other places. Amy lives in Brooklyn.  

Kristen Radtke is the author of the graphic nonfiction book Imagine Wanting Only This (Pantheon, 2017). She is the art director and New York editor for The Believer magazine. Her work as appeared in the New York Times Book Review, New Yorker’s Page Turner, Oxford American, Virginia Quarterly Review, BOMB, Huffington Post, and many other places. She lives and works in Brooklyn.
