Andrew Losowsky leads a paper-based hackathon, where you'll take the latest edition of The New York Times, find what's missing from its stories, and create a dazzling and delightful showcase of creatively enhanced articles. 

Will journalism survive this onslaught? There's only one way to find out. 

About Journalism + Design:

Journalism + Design is a new interdisciplinary undergraduate program at Eugene Lang College that merges design thinking with time-tested journalistic principles and practice. Follow us on Twitter @JournoDesign.

About Andrew Losowsky:

Andrew Losowsky is project lead at the Coral Project, a collaboration between the Mozilla Foundation, The New York Times, and The Washington Post which uses open-source software to improve online news communities. He has written for publications such as The Guardian, The Wall Street Journal, The Times of London and The Big Issue. In 2001, Losowsky was one of six New Journalists of the Year in the UK, and has worked on online publications since 1998. He also spent a year as a John S. Knight Journalism Fellow at Stanford University, where he researched future trends in journalism and technology.
