New Voices Playwrights Festival: Salute by Alexander Kveton

Friday, March 24, 2017 at 7:00 pm

The Theater at the School of Drama 151 Bank Street, New York, NY 10014

The School of Drama’s New Voices Playwrights Festival presents Salute by Alexander Kveton, directed by Lana Russell.

On the cusp of graduating, a prep school senior boy falls in love with a freshman girl, but because the school is so entrenched in a salacious tradition, what begins as love ends in tragedy.

This production is part of the School of Drama’s New Voices Playwrights Festival, running March 18-25 & April 15-22, 2017, featuring four plays in repertory highlighting Drama’s graduating MFA playwrights, directors, and actors of 2017.

For a complete schedule of performances, to read excerpts from the plays, and view graduating actors’ headshots and résumés, visit the School of Drama website.

NEW VOICES is generously supported by the Harold and Mimi Steinberg Charitable Trust.

Tickets available beginning January 23, 2017.
