MOSSENEK consists of Mick Barr (guitar) and Chuck Bettis (throat + electronics). Both are no strangers to the extreme experimental worlds nor to each other, since they have been collaborating sporadically for well over a decade in various projects that span the musical spectrum. Mick and Chuck first met in Washington, D.C. in the late 90's where eventually they both would end up living and playing together in the same communal house known as The Embassy. After such a long period, Mossenek erupted onto this world.
Mick Barr is a musician, composer, improviser currently based in the NYC/NJ area. Notable for his relentless speed and agility on guitar and meticulous compositions, he has been an active musician for over twenty years and has released over 50 recordings.
