Kayaking on the Hudson River

Come paddle around with us on the Hudson. This will be a leisurely beginner tour, led by a guide who will teach you the basics of kayaking before heading out into open water. Includes kayak rental, life jacket, tour guide, and basic instructions.
Note: You must be able to swim in case you fall off your kayak – life jackets will be provided.
The day of, meet us at Pier 84 at West 44th St and the Hudson. Wear clothes you don’t mind getting wet (non-cotton) and bring a change of clothes.
This event is only open to current New School students with valid New School ID, faculty, staff, alumni, and their guests. To register, click the "Buy Tickets" button near the top right corner of this page.
You must have medical insurance to participate; you will be asked to list your policy carrier and number upon registering. Bring your New School ID and insurance card with you to the event.
