Jazz Presents | Guitar Duos | Wednesday April 9 | 8:30 PM

Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at 8:30 pm to 10:00 pm

School of Jazz Performance Space, Room I531, Arnhold Hall 55 West 13th Street, New York, NY 10011

There's a special magic that happens when two world-class musicians play a duet together. It's just two artists, alone together on stage, listening intently and communicating with the audience and each other, immersed in the moment. Join us on April 9th to listen in on these intimate musical conversations between a half dozen uniquely talented guitarists.

The performance will feature the musicians in a round-robin duo setting, showcasing the special energy and excitement that happens when two artists take the spotlight together, with nowhere to run, and nowhere to hide. Expect the sound of surprise!

Featuring special guest, alum Peter Bernstein, with Jazz faculty guitarists Richard Boukas, Ed MacEachen, Steve Cardenas, Vic Juris, and Rory Stuart.

We strongly recommend purchasing tickets in advance, through the New School Box Office, located at 66 W. 12th St., New York, NY.

The Regular Box Office hours are:

4:00 - 7:00 pm, Monday - Thursday, and 3:00 - 6:00 pm Friday.
