Group Fitness: Kripalu Yoga

Kripalu Yoga is the yoga of compassion, loving kindness, and non-judgmental self-awareness. In this class we explore yoga postures (asanas), breath work (pranayama), and centering techniques to rebalance not only the systems of the body, but the mind and spirit as well. We take a timeout from the hustle and bustle of the outside world and tune into what’s going on inside the body. This playful gentle class serves as an inquiry into the Self and is wonderful for beginners and first timers as well. Come play!
Group fitness classes are only open to current New School students with valid New School ID, 2014 New School graduates, faculty, and staff.
Classes are first come, first serve. Drop-in (no reservations).
Complete waivers are due at your first summer class.
You MUST have medical insurance to participate.
