Fridays@One: Jews and Palestinians: A Search for Common Ground

A film screening of The Ruins of Lifta, a documentary produced by Menachem Daum and Oren Rudafsky.  The filmmaker Menachem Daum will lead the discussion following the screening.

Lifta, on the outskirts of Jerusalem, is the only Palestinian village in Israel whose scarred buildings remain. Today, a coalition of Palestinians and Israelis is trying to protect the ruins from development and start a dialogue between the two peoples with tragic histories.
