Sunday, May 7, 2017 at 4:00 pm

School of Jazz Performance Space, Room I531, Arnhold Hall 55 West 13th Street, New York, NY 10011

The School of Jazz presents trumpeter Erez Feuer's Senior Recital.

Trumpeter Erez Feuer’s Senior Recital presents his recent musical work with his new sextet.

Born and raised in a small village in Israel, Erez Feuer is the son of Jazz trumpeter Yoav Feuer.  Inspired by the music at home, Erez began playing trumpet at the age of ten. Feuer studied in the Academy for Music High School in Jerusalem and later in the Center for Jazz studies in Tel Aviv,  while playing with the Israeli Big Band and collaborating with Mulgrew Miller, Mark Turner, and Sam Yahel. In 2015 Erez moved to New York after he was awarded a full scholarship to study at The New School for Jazz. Since then, he’s been contributing to the New York jazz scene while studying with renowned JLCO trumpeter Marcus Printup and with Grammy- award musician Robert Sadin.

Sponsored by The New School's School of Jazz.
