Citing 101 Workshop

Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm

Alvin Johnson/J.M. Kaplan Hall , Room 801 66 West 12th Street , New York, NY 10011

Using other people's words and ideas is a great way to support an argument, as long as you credit your sources properly. Guiding you through the three main citation styles (Chicago, MLA, and APA), presenter Holly Rice will demonstrate how to cite quotes and paraphrases within a paper and in a bibliography/works cited page.

Students are also encouraged to attend the ULC’s In Your Own Words workshop to maximize their understanding of correct citation.
