A tribute in sound + vision to the late musician and artist David Bowie (1947-2016) led by Simon Critchley, author of Bowie (2014, OR Books) and lifelong Bowie fan. The news of Bowie's untimely death on January 10, 2016, two days after his 69th birthday and the release of his brilliant new album Blackstar was met with shock, sadness and a huge outpouring of public grief. The purpose of this event is simply to listen to Bowie music, watch some of his videos and reflect on the meaning of his art in the light of his death.

Feel free to come dressed in your favorite Bowie style and be ready to sing along.  Reception begins at 6:30 p.m. Event begins at 7:00 p.m.
