Parsons Festival 2017: BFA Design and Technology Thesis Opening: Knowing the Present as an Act of Imagination

The BFA Design and Technology Department is proud to announce Knowing the Present as an Act of Imagination, the thesis work of Parsons' BFA Design and Technology class of 2017. The exhibition represents a wide variety of experimental approaches to technology in the contexts of art, design, music, and gaming. On display are works based in computational form, physical computing, experimental video, immersive environments, game design, and creative technology. Join us on May 16 from 6 until 9pm for the opening reception at Parsons School of Design, 2 west 13th street, New York City. There will be a live performance from 7:00- 8:00 PM of film, animation, and musical performance related to the thesis projects in the Kellen Auditorium. Please refer to for more information.

Parsons Festival is an annual series of art and design events in which cutting-edge student work is presented to the Parsons community and the public. The festival takes place at the end of each academic year and includes thesis exhibitions and critiques, thought-provoking public programs, interactive installations, gallery openings, workshops, and special events.
